Decarbonisation is one of the key challenges facing road transport operators. Help the sector obtain reliable data to fuel our insights as well as advocacy with international organisations and governments.
To better understand and report on the issues and opportunities facing road transport operators worldwide on the road to net-zero emissions, we need to collect and analyse data from the ground.
Sound data will help us push governments and authorities to establish the infrastructure and enabling conditions required to decarbonise while continuing to meet mobility and logistics needs.
To this end, we have launched a Global Green Compact Survey to measure the current actions taken by our sector to decarbonise.
The survey – available in 21 languages – takes less than ten minutes to complete.
Your involvement is crucial to obtaining reliable data. Together, we can gain data-driven insights and get governments to better support the road transport sector on its journey to carbon neutrality.
IRU members will be able to access the survey’s findings, which will be released in early 2025, directly via the IRU Intelligence Platform. (Non-IRU member survey respondents will receive a discount code.)
We encourage everyone to share the survey widely to reach as many transport operators as possible.
About the Green Compact
IRU’s Green Compact is a collective global commitment and roadmap to achieve carbon neutrality in commercial road transport by 2050.
With the Green Compact, IRU aims to build a pragmatic, collaborative, evidence-based approach to support the most optimal and cost-effective approaches to decarbonise road transport.
