Making TIR happen in Manzhouli
I’m the Deputy Chief of the Manzhouli Customs' Logistics Monitoring Section. I previously worked at the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC).
During my time GACC, I coordinated with parties involved in TIR transport, including monitoring business operations and notifying customs across the country on the revision of carnets.
I’ve been continuously promoting the implementation of TIR at Manzhouli, the main border crossing for TIR operations in China.
Round-trip TIR pilots by a Chinese operator with carnets issued by China’s TIR issuing and guaranteeing association CRTA were successfully completed at the Manzhouli border crossing in 2023.
