A very human industry
I’ve been working at XTL Transport for about seven years and been involved in the Ontario Trucking Association’s next generation leadership and LEAD programmes to further young leadership and development within the transport industry.
What I've learned through the years of working with our different teams on various projects is that transport is an essential industry in the supply chain and a very human industry that takes the environment and safety seriously.
Simple things like miles per gallon (MPG) and the importance of increasing MPG through investment in new equipment technologies and reducing fuel consumption are crucial, not just for the bottom line, but also for the environment.
From a safety and fuel economy perspective, our fleet ranks best in class. We invest heavily in the latest technologies to achieve exceptional fuel economy and safety standards. Unlike many, our fleet is equipped with air disc brakes and multiple collision avoidance systems.
At XTL, we are a very team-oriented and pride ourselves as a positive contributor to supply chains, an essential part of our economy, and give back through various philanthropic initiatives as much as we can!
