Award-winning logistics professor shaping the next generation
I’m a distinguished graduate of the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology’s School of Engineering and Management and earned a PhD in Management from Auburn University in Alabama.
Growing up in a small town in West Tennessee, both my parents worked in the transportation and trucking industry. After graduating high school, I served in the United States Air Force for 22 years.
I’m passionate about shaping the next generation of logistics and transport talent, helping lead the development and growth of graduate and undergraduate programmes at multiple universities, including Georgia Southern University and Texas Christian University, as well as Mississippi State University, where I’ve been recently promoted to the position of Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management.
I actively engage with managerial audiences and serves as an academic advisor for several industry organisations, including SMC3 and the American Trucking Associations' Trucking University programme.
I also serve on the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals board and the co-author of the “Annual Study of Trends in Logistics and Transportation”, published every September by Logistics Management Magazine.
