Elevating road safety in Mexico
I’m the Director General of RAME Autotransportes. We have 25 years of experience in domestic and international ground transport services, covering Mexico, the United States and Canada.
At RAME, we are very clear about our objective, to position ourselves as a company that provides confidence and security in all its shipments with a special focus on two determining factors: quality and service.
Having the permanent support and drive of senior managers to prioritise safety above all else has helped us to achieve the results we have today.
We have been awarded by our insurance agent, Qualitas, for our low accident rate in recent years.
We have achieved this thanks to our permanent safety campaign with all the operators and collaborators who work with us, providing training, disseminating flyers and conducting prevention activities.
We have invested in software technology, cameras and hardware in our tractors to strengthen them with tools that help achieve these results.
We are also working on making our operations more efficient and reduce our emissions with eco-driving, weekly tyre calibrations, exclusively using ultra-low sulfur fuel, and more efficient use of water at our terminals’ restrooms and washing units.
