My dedication to raising driving standards in India
I became a truck driver instructor to motivate and empower more women to take up driving jobs.
I've been driving trucks for many years. I would like to train more women to take up truck driving as their profession. It's still an unexplored niche area of expertise without many woman.
I got this very thought as my father is the founder of a driving school. Seeing him, how he trains people to drive cars and trucks, has made driving a passion of mine.
With the love and interest developed towards vehicles and driving, I obtained my diploma in automobile engineering to understand the technologies and terminologies.
My constant desire to upgrade my skills has led me to get trained by IRU. I carry the pride now of being the FIRST INDIAN WOMAN to be certified by IRU in India.
Being a trainer for more than a decade, I always wanted to make a huge difference in the quality of drivers. I strongly believe that when the quality of driving is improved, it would reduce the number of accidents.
