Giving it my all: Family, work and road transport
My name is Marcela Marroquin. I’m originally from Allende, Nuevo León, Mexico.
I am a wife and mother of two girls. I studied business administration at Tec de Monterrey. I give it my all to fulfill both my work and personal life the best I can.
As my parents had a transport business, I was involved in transport from a very young age.
When I turned 15, my parents suggested that my brother and I start a unit to learn, assume responsibility and gain firsthand business experience. I worked and studied at the same time. It was hard but I appreciate the experiences I gained this way at a young age.
I have been working for 17 years in the industry. I’m primarily focused on the administrative aspects part of MM CARGA, which is part of Grupo Marroquín. The Marroquín family has been active in the sector for over 30 years.
MM CARGA has a presence in Monterrey, NL, Altamira, Tamaulipas, Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz and Manzanillo Colima.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive services to our clients and contribute to their value chains.
We focus on developing and training operators to have more and better operators on their teams.
I am also part of the National Council of CANACAR.
