India on the move: A road transport sector fit for the future

I’m a passionate serial entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience building multiple businesses.

I was instrumental in building RapidLoops, a B2B logistics solution and service company for bulk-haul trucking in India. 

It unites truckers and shippers through a cutting-edge digital platform, solving complex problems and reducing inefficiencies in the logistics ecosystem.

I am currently working on building a freight network to increase trucks’ efficiency. Truck productivity in India is low compared to global standards. 

Our platform helps truckers with real-time information on load availability to reduce waiting times and dead miles. This results in less driving to move the same amount of goods, causing lesser costs and emissions.

Trucks account for 12.3% of road accidents in India, most of which are due to unfit and overloaded trucks. 

I have worked with fleet owners, transport operators, industry associations and stakeholders to avoid truck overloading and safety violations. Through joint initiatives by enforcement agencies and associations, unsafe practices and violations were controlled in our region.

I’m now working on setting up a driver training and skill development centre in South India.
