IRU, ASRTU (the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings) and Busworld International are joining forces to organise the Busworld India 2016 congress in Bangalore, “Bus and coach – a smart transportation system for India”, putting a spotlight on connectivity, safety, coach tourism and electromobility.
Oleg Kamberski, IRU Head of Passenger Transport said, “Building on IRU’s international experience and expertise, as well as our work with the IRU-led All India Smart Move High Level Group, we are working towards a clear action plan on safe, green affordable and sustainable transport in India with policy recommendations on how to substantially increase the use of buses, coaches and taxis by 2030.”
Jan Deman, Director Busworld Academy said, “The Busworld Academy congress in Bengalore will bring together high level Indian and International mobility-experts, public and private bus operators, bus builders and authorities to exchange ideas for the further improvement of the mobility services on Indian roads."

Busworld India 2016 is a B2B exhibition in the bus and coach industry, bringing together 250 bus and coach manufacturers and their suppliers, with more than 6000 customers. This is the 7th edition of Busworld India and takes place in Bangalore, from 10 to 12 November 2016.
