IRU, the world road transport organisation, welcomes Jinhai Holdings as a new member focused on expanding efficient and sustainable logistics solutions such as the TIR system.
Established in February 2020, the Liaoning Jinhai Holdings Group (Jinhai Holdings) has joined IRU, bringing significant expertise in logistics and customs operations.
One of Jinhai Holdings’ flagship projects is the Shenyang National Logistics Hub Jinhai Park. This service hub features container yards, office buildings, warehouses and a customs supervision zone spanning more than 8,000 square metres.
Since July 2024, the park has been managing TIR operations, developing expertise in customs clearance and logistics that support efficient and sustainable international road transport.
IRU Secretary General Umberto de Pretto said, “We are pleased to welcome Jinhai Holdings into the IRU family.
“Its rapidly expanding operations in China will further strengthen the role of international road transport and the growing role of the TIR system in China and regionally.”
Jinhai Holdings Chairman Ren Yi said, “We are delighted to join the IRU community and align our goals with its mission and vision for safe, efficient and sustainable road transport.”
“Jinhai Holdings focuses on flexible and diverse transport solutions for TIR businesses, enhancing cross-border logistics capacity, promoting trade, driving digitalisation, and supporting local economic development. We also prioritise energy conservation and emissions reduction by integrating logistics resources,” he added.
Based in Liaoning province, Jinhai Holdings employs 1,500 people.
