The EU Green Deal is turning five. This landmark mission is now entering its second phase: implementation across member states, with a big shift on industrial policy and competitiveness. Backlash against further green policies from some civil society sectors and businesses has also risen in the EU capital before the European election, planting the seed for further debate on which direction the EU should be taking.
