The Standing Committee of the Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-Border Paperless Trade in Asia and the Pacific will meet for the first time in 2022 to initiate implementation of the Treaty since its entry into force in 2021.
Following IRU’s intervention at the UNESCAP Transport Committee and the bilateral meeting with the UNESCAP Executive Secretary, IRU is now presenting the UN TIR Convention and related IT tools as the best way to implement the UNESCAP Framework Agreement on Facilitation of Cross-border Paperless Trade in Asia at the first meeting of the UNESCAP Standing Committee on the Framework Agreement.
