11th Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Forum Week: Leveraging Digitalisation for Sustainable Supply Chains
The 11th APTFF will focus on how digitalization can be leveraged to enable sustainable supply chains in the Asia-Pacific region. The Forum will feature panel discussions, and interactive and informative sessions allowing participants to share experiences and perspectives on different aspects of trade facilitation and digitalization, including cross-border paperless trade and transport, and greening the trade process. Relevant regional initiatives and implementation cases will be discussed in the sessions.
The Forum will also include the presentation of the Asia-Pacific Trade Facilitation Innovation Awards, as well as an exhibition and side events for more in-depth exploration of pertinent issues and tools.
Vadim Zakharenko, IRU General Delegate to Euroasia will be speaking in two of the side events taking place during the week in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
- "Enabling legal environment for digital transport and trade" will take place as a side event on Wednesday 3 April 2024 from 11:00 to 12:30 (Local Time, GMT+5). Hosted by UNCITRAL, with the presentation on the digitalisation of international customs documents and consignment notes.
- "Digital Transformation of Transport: key trends and synergetic effect" will take place as a side event on Thursday 4 April 2024 from 15:30 to 17:00 (Local Time, GMT+5). Hosted by the Eurasian Economic Commission, with the presentation on the role of eTIR and e-CMR to ensure sustainable supply chains.
