The Chamber of the Bulgarian Road Hauliers (CBRH) has become an IRU associate member.
The CBRH was established in 2017 as a non-profit organisation. Gathering over 300 members, the CBRH network is constantly growing at the national and international level.
Its main goal is to achieve connectivity and communication across the whole transport chain, from public authorities to small and medium-size enterprises in the road transport sector.
In order to do so, its activities focus on improving the conditions for truck drivers and removing discriminatory policies through awareness-raising campaigns and discussions with legal entities.
The CBRH is actively involved in improving the attractiveness of the professions and in making it a safer and fairer environment. It also works towards increasing the share of alternative fuels in the industry.
By joining IRU, the CBRH aims to establish strong partnerships with the institutions of the European Union and other international organisations. It will focus on developing a more sustainable and competitive transport sector by facilitating the access to innovative technology.
IRU is happy to welcome the CBRH as its latest member and looks forward to work jointly to build prosperous economies and societies by boosting road connectivity.
