As part of its contribution to the ongoing policy discussions in the context of the European Commission Road Initiatives on infrastructure and road charging, IRU will present a report by independent researchers examining the external cost coverage of road freight transport in the European Union. The report provides evidence of how the European Road freight transport sector already sufficiently covers its infrastructure and external costs.
