Organised by the International Center for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), this year's conference will focus on addressing sectoral shortages across Europe.
The first day will feature parallel workshops dedicated to three sectors facing significant shortages: renewable energy, aged care, and ICT skills.
Additionally, the conference will include representatives from EU institutions and Member State governments who will discuss policy developments in labour migration, along with a segment on talent attraction and retention strategies.
IRU Director of Certification & Standards Patrick Philipp will be speaking on the 20 November at 09:20. He will discuss the "Skilled Driver Mobility for Europe" project.
