In view of the uncertainties faced by a very important part of the sectors related to transport: operators, vehicle and equipment manufacturers, suppliers of energy resources and others are organising this symposium.
It aims to provide a highly qualified forum to offer a joint treatment of the problems faced by the subsectors of collective passenger and freight transport, especially long-distance operators, in relation to their specific requirements of technologies and energies that allow progress in the objective of decarbonisation, without jeopardising the efficiency, competitiveness and viability of the services they offer to Society.
In its organisation, ASEPA and INSIA join forces; the Spanish Association of Automotive Professionals brings a wide knowledge of the sector and the problems it faces in the field of decarbonisation and the Francisco Aparicio Automotive Research Institute of the Polytechnic University of Madrid, its high specialisation in scientific and technological problems related to propulsion systems for low- or zero-emission vehicles.
The event will bring together some 30 specialists, mostly from leading companies in the different segments of road transport and energy, highly qualified academics and prominent members of government and the European Parliament, to present a careful selection of the most topical issues offering, as a whole, a multidisciplinary treatment, all in the privileged setting of the School of Industrial Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid as well as online.
