Urban Mobility Days 2023

The Urban Mobility Days 2023 will take place from 4 to 6 October in Seville, Spain.

Urban Mobility Days will bring together politicians, local authorities, industry, and urban transport practitioners with the European Commission to connect, share and discuss the path forward for a sustainable, innovative, and equitable future for Europe’s urban mobility.

The Urban Mobility Days is a three-day conference attracting more than 2,000 participants from the sector and featuring an exhibition to showcase the latest innovations.

As 2023 is the European Year of Skills, Urban Mobility Days will have a specific focus on transport skills.

Raluca Marian, Director of EU Advocacy and Brussels General Delegate will be a speaker for the session: Urban Vehicle Access Regulations: are Perspectives Converging? 

The session will take place on Thursday 5 October from 16:15 to 17:30. 

During the session, the speakers will discuss about how cities manage different types of urban vehicle access regulation (UVAR), from low-emission zones to parking management, trying to support compliance with EU air quality standards and to limit congestion and traffic-borne emissions. 

As such, UVARs should allow for seamless and user-friendly travel across the single market, without discriminating against non-resident drivers. Different perspectives will be presented in this session.
