Background
Since February 2022, the large majority of Mobility Package 1 provisions are applicable, and the industry is already coping with the new rules. The majority of the key posting scenarios have been clarified by the European Commission services. The TRACE2 project has also advanced and the first guidance notes have been presented and discussed with enforcers. Common understanding and harmonised implementation and enforcement of the MP1 rules is crucial for both companies and enforcers, to ensure fair and efficient market functioning.
