Different cities, different solutions- Smartfusion in action
In 2015, Smartfusion used three trial cities to show exactly what advancements are being made in sustainable road transport.
-
In Berlin, Germany, we demonstrated integrated technology solutions using hybrid trucks.
-
In Como, Italy, we displayed a remote monitoring system for improving emissions management and energy forecasting in fully electric vehicles.
-
In Newcastle, UK, we used fully electric trucks to show the benefits of a collaborative approach between shippers, logistics companies and local government.
This project was part of our ‘30-by-30’ commitment to reduce the road transport industry’s CO2 emissions by 30% by 2030.
